My husband called me at the office today with some really good news. Our house is actually running ahead of schedule. We may actually be able to move into it a month or so early. They are getting ready to install the submersible well pump today. Once that is in things should really start moving. I just can not wait to finally be in a house that is all our own. We have been living with his parents for too long.

When I got home from the dentist last Tuesday, I called my mom. I told her that I wanted to let know that I had seen some great pictures of Two inch faux wood blinds in a magazine. I told her that I thought the blinds would be perfect for her living room. When she asked me if I still had the magazine, I told her that I still had it. She said she would look at the blinds the next time she stops at my house.

My son loves to run around the house and say that he is Superman, complete with a bath towel as a cape. However, recently he decided to take it a step further and start changing clothes inside of his wardrobe. He says that it is like a phone booth with the closet doors. Unfortunately he accidentally broke them the last time he energetically opened them so that he could come to my wife’s “rescue” when she needed help folding laundry. I certainly is fun having such an imaginative boy around, but it definitely wears on our house in some odd ways.

My husband and I don’t agree very often, but we do agree on our flooring choices. We both want to get the best hardwood floor atlanta has to offer. We have had yucky carpet for years and we are both ready to have the top of the line floors. I hope that we can find a good deal on it, because we really don’t have a huge budget. My parents had a beautiful deck put in their backyard. It is huge. It is made of Timbertech Rockford material. It really turned out nice. The only issue is that the person that built the deck did not leave enough space for the water to drain so it sits on the deck and creates mold. It is my understanding that this matieral does not shrink so you have to make sure spaces are there for drainage. It does cause my dad some hassel because now he needs to clean it on a regular basis. Overall it does look very nice and they really enjoy it.
